Grilling for Good: Fundraiser in Prince George

Centennial Food Solutions brought the spirit of togetherness to Prince George through a barbeque fundraiser that satisfied taste buds and raised awareness for a worthy cause. Through a concerted effort from our team and support from the community, we raised $4,400 for Friends of Children, a charity providing free and confidential service to Northern BC families travelling to access medical treatments for their children.  Our commitment to connecting with the communities we serve was evident, as the event marked a significant step toward becoming part of the local fabric.

Despite being disrupted by the pandemic in previous years, the event exceeded all expectations and marked a significant step toward becoming part of the local fabric. We used a multi-faceted approach to market the event, including an advertisement on local radio, a strategic Facebook campaign, and distributing flyers within the area. Our menu, carefully curated to please every palate, included delights such as Shrimp Tacos, Chicken Souvlaki Pitas, Smokies, Back Country Burgers, and fries.

We want to extend our gratitude to our staff, whose hard work and dedication were instrumental in bringing the barbeque to fruition. Additionally, we'd like to thank our vendors, whose generous donations helped ensure the event's success.

As the embers settle, we look forward to making this fundraiser an annual tradition. Our goal of fostering camaraderie, contributing to charitable causes, and strengthening our ties within the community we proudly serve remains steadfast. Here's to many more years of collaboration and shared success.
